PEPTIDES EXPLAINED

Melanoboost uses biomimetic peptides to assist the natural tanning process. These intelligent actives are designed to boost melanin in in the lead up to UV exposure.

Melanin is the pigment which makes our skin tan. Naturally, melanin is usually only produced when our skin is exposed to UV light, however the biomimetic peptides used by Melanoboost are designed to mimic melanogenesis without UV exposure which allows you to start the tanning process indoors. This is what makes the science of biomimetic tanning technology so game changing!

The more abundant your melanin levels are before you head outdoors, the better prepared your skin is for exposure to sunlight in moderate amounts, and the better its ability to tan more effectively with minimal sun exposure.
HOW TO USE

BEFORE: Apply a thin layer of Melanoboost Peptide Sun Tanning Lotion + Bronzing daily over 1-3 consecutive days to gradually build a temporary sunless tan (fake tan)

*Wash hands after use to avoid staining. At the same time you are building your sunless tan, Melanoboost's Peptide Complex works to boost melanin levels and activate the natural tanning process to prepare your skin for UV exposure.

DURING: Use Melanoboost Peptide Sun Tanning Lotion + Bronzing during short bursts of UV exposure to advance faster darker tanning with minimal UV exposure.

All Melanoboost products are suitable for use in a tanning bed, however if you’re going to use the oil in a tanning bed, make sure you allow an extra few minutes for it to absorb into your skin before your session to prevent residual transfer onto the acrylic bed.

Melanoboost only requires short periods of UV exposure to be effective so make sure you limit the amount of time spent in the tanning bed.

Alternatively, switch to Melanoboost Peptide Sun Tanning Oil + Bronzing as this is the OIL equivalent of the + Bronzing lotion - Wash hands after use to avoid staining.

Melanoboost encourages users to take a balanced approach to UV exposure to maximise benefit and minimise risk. Regular short bursts of sun exposure should be sufficient to tan effectively using Melanoboost.

Melanoboost does not contain sunscreen, so don’t forget your usual sun protection. TIP: Apply Melanoboost first, let it absorb, then apply sunscreen. Re-apply both again after swimming.

AFTER: Exposure to the sun and outdoor elements can leave your skin feeling dry, tight and thirsty for moisture. Use Melanoboost Peptide Sun Tanning Lotion + Bronzing after spending time in the sun to feed your skin with much needed moisture to quash any dry, after-sun tightness.

Tan Accelerating Trio - Peptide Sun Tanning Lotion + Bronzing

I think I love this more than the bronzing oil. I have eczema and these products are the only gradual tanning formula that is able to give me a glow without being patchy. I do mix the lotion with my cerave cream just to make sure i have even application with day to day use. The bronzing oil is definitely better for those days you want a little glowiness to your skin or you are spending the day on the beach. Both still give a beautiful tan glow to my skin even if I haven't been out in the sun lately. It's not the darkest tan without sun but I definitely get a nice base tan just from using the products. This is my second order from melanoboost.
